Peer Support Services

A woman and a man having a conversation in a cozy, well-lit office or lounge, sitting across from each other at a wooden coffee table with a neutral-colored couch and a beige armchair. The room has large windows, potted plants, and a bookshelf with books and decorative items.

Peer Support Services at Schea K Solutions are non-clinical and grounded in lived experience, shared understanding, practical support, and respect for your autonomy.

Support can take different forms depending on what you need. Services include Peer Counseling, Peer Mentoring, Peer Coaching, and Independent Peer Advocacy.

The work may include conversation, problem-solving, decision support, goal development, communication, rebuilding and recovery planning, lived-experience perspective, self-advocacy, and practical support while navigating change or systems.

Peer Support Services do not include psychotherapy, diagnosis, clinical assessment, or licensed professional counseling.

Ways I Can Support You

Peer Counseling
Structured, non-clinical, client-directed peer conversation focused on problem-solving, decision support, goals, communication, and rebuilding or recovery planning.

Peer Mentoring
Lived-experience perspective, practical knowledge, shared understanding, and support navigating experiences, changes, or challenges where relevant lived experience can be useful.

Peer Coaching
Peer-based support for clarifying goals, identifying options, developing strategies, following through, and evaluating what is working.

Independent Peer Advocacy
Support maintaining your voice, understanding your options, communicating what matters to you, and participating meaningfully while navigating a system, service, organization, or important meeting.

My Approach to Peer Support

I work beside people, not above them.

My approach is grounded, direct, trauma-aware, body-aware, and centered on autonomy.

That means your experience is not treated as something to fix, manage, or force into a predetermined process.

There is room for uncertainty, mixed feelings, contradiction, anger, grief, relief, and the parts of rebuilding that do not fit into neat language.

You will not be pressured to forgive, reconcile, move on, or make decisions before you are ready.

Support should strengthen your autonomy, not replace it.
