Disclaimer & Scope

General Information Only

Website content is provided for general educational and informational purposes.

It is not:

  • therapy or counseling

  • mental health diagnosis or treatment

  • medical advice or treatment

  • legal advice or representation

  • crisis intervention

  • emergency assistance

  • a guarantee of a particular result

Do not rely solely on general website content when professional, legal, clinical, medical, or emergency assistance is needed.

Mental Health Peer Support

Mental health peer support is a non-clinical service grounded in lived experience, shared understanding, honest conversation, practical reflection, and personal choice.

Peer support does not include diagnosis, psychotherapy, medical treatment, or clinical mental health care.

It is not a substitute for licensed care when licensed clinical or medical care is needed.

Peer support may exist alongside therapy, medical care, legal services, advocacy, or other forms of support.

Conflict Communication Support

Conflict communication support helps individuals reflect on communication patterns, clarify concerns, identify boundaries, prepare for difficult conversations, and consider possible next steps.

It is not therapy, legal advice, representation, investigation, or formal mediation.

No communication strategy can guarantee a particular response, prevent conflict, repair a relationship, or produce an agreement.

Each person remains responsible for deciding whether direct communication is safe and appropriate.

Providing individual conflict communication support to one person may prevent Schea K Solutions from later serving as the neutral mediator in the same matter.

Mediation

Mediation is a structured process in which a neutral mediator helps participants discuss concerns, clarify issues, consider options, and determine whether a voluntary agreement is possible.

The mediator does not:

  • decide who is right or wrong

  • impose a decision

  • provide legal advice

  • represent a participant

  • investigate disputed facts

  • provide therapy

  • force an agreement or reconciliation

  • guarantee a particular outcome

Participants remain responsible for their decisions and are encouraged to consult an attorney when legal rights, court orders, enforceability, custody, property, support obligations, or other legal consequences are involved.

Mediation is also governed by a separate mediation agreement. The signed mediation agreement controls if it conflicts with this general website policy.

Safety and Appropriateness

Not every situation is appropriate for peer support, direct communication, or mediation.

A service may be declined, paused, discontinued, restructured, or referred elsewhere when concerns involve:

  • immediate danger

  • coercion or intimidation

  • active abuse

  • inability to participate voluntarily

  • significant power imbalances

  • a need for clinical, medical, or legal intervention

  • conduct that threatens safety or the integrity of the process

  • circumstances outside the scope of the service

Completing an inquiry or intake form does not guarantee that a service will be accepted.

No Crisis or Emergency Services

Schea K Solutions does not provide:

  • emergency services

  • crisis intervention

  • immediate-response assistance

  • 24-hour monitoring or availability

Do not use the website, contact form, email, social media, membership platform, or booking system to report an emergency.

If you or another person is in immediate danger, call 911 or contact an appropriate local emergency service.

For urgent mental health, domestic violence, sexual assault, abuse, or safety concerns, contact an appropriate crisis line, healthcare provider, advocacy organization, or local emergency resource.

Results and Testimonials

Testimonials, comments, examples, or personal stories reflect individual experiences.

They do not guarantee that another person will receive the same result.

Schea K Solutions does not guarantee healing, personal change, agreement, reconciliation, legal outcomes, relationship outcomes, financial outcomes, or any other specific result.

Cancellation & Payment Policy

General Payment Requirements

Current rates and session lengths are displayed on the website or provided before a service is scheduled.

Unless another arrangement has been approved in writing:

  • payment for private peer support is required before the scheduled session

  • payment for conflict communication support is required before the scheduled session

  • full mediation payment is required before the scheduled mediation date

  • a service is not confirmed until required intake steps and payment have been completed

A session or mediation may be released, postponed, or canceled when payment is not received by the stated deadline.

Mediation Payments

Each party is responsible for the fee assigned to that party unless another payment arrangement has been approved in writing.

The number of parties and applicable fees will be confirmed before mediation.

Additional mediation time is billed at the rate disclosed before the mediation. Additional time must be agreed upon and is subject to mediator availability.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

To cancel or reschedule a service, contact Schea K Solutions as soon as reasonably possible.

The following cancellation period applies:

[Insert required notice, such as 24 or 48 hours.]

When the required notice is provided, payment may be transferred to one rescheduled appointment, subject to availability.

Late cancellations and missed appointments may be nonrefundable.

Mediation Cancellations and Rescheduling

Because mediation requires reserved time, intake, screening, preparation, and coordination among multiple participants, a separate cancellation policy applies.

Cancellations must be made at least five business days before the scheduled mediation.

Cancellations made after the five-business-day deadline, or failure to attend the mediation, will result in the full mediation fee being nonrefundable.

For mediations scheduled fewer than five business days in advance, payment becomes nonrefundable once the mediation has been confirmed.

One rescheduling request may be considered when notice is provided before the applicable cancellation deadline. Rescheduling is subject to current availability and is not guaranteed.

A rescheduled mediation must generally take place within 30 days of the original mediation date, unless another arrangement is approved in writing.

If a rescheduled mediation is later canceled, missed, or cannot proceed because a participant fails to attend, the payment will not be transferred or refunded.

A participant’s failure to attend does not automatically entitle another participant to a refund.

Additional cancellation, payment, and rescheduling terms may also be included in the mediation agreement. When the mediation agreement contains more specific terms, the signed mediation agreement controls.

Late Arrival

Sessions and mediations generally end at the originally scheduled time.

A late arrival may reduce the amount of available time, and additional time is not guaranteed.

If a participant arrives too late for the service to proceed responsibly, the appointment may be treated as a missed session and the applicable cancellation policy will apply.

Refunds

Completed services are nonrefundable.

Payments may also be nonrefundable when a service is missed, canceled after the applicable deadline, partially completed, or when time has already been reserved or work has already been performed.

Digital materials, completed workshops, and other delivered resources are nonrefundable unless otherwise stated.

Reduced-rate services, scholarships, and community-supported spaces do not create an entitlement to future reduced-rate or free services.

Cancellation by Schea K Solutions

Schea K Solutions may cancel or reschedule a service because of illness, emergency, safety concerns, nonpayment, technology failure, inappropriate conduct, or other circumstances that prevent the service from proceeding responsibly.

When Schea K Solutions cancels a paid service and cannot offer a reasonable rescheduled date, the payment for the canceled service will be refunded.

Accessibility

Schea K Solutions is committed to providing reasonably accessible website content and services.

Reasonable efforts are made to improve usability for people with disabilities and to provide effective access to information and services.

Accessibility may vary when content or services are provided through third-party platforms that Schea K Solutions does not control.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need information in another format, contact Schea K Solutions and include:

  • the page or material involved

  • the difficulty you encountered

  • the type of assistance or format requested

  • a way to contact you

Reasonable efforts will be made to provide assistance, an alternative format, or another workable option when practicable.

Requests will be considered individually. An accessibility request does not guarantee that every requested modification will be available.
